Clean room, comfortable bedding with excellent locations for plugs all over the room, allowing me to work on my laptop from various spots including the bed and the desk.

I had the worst experience trying to check in. They messed up my reservation, claiming my card was declined when it definitely wasn't. Just ridiculous!

I had an absolute blast! The indoor swimming pool is a bright spot for both kids and adults. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was lively!

During my stay, I found everything from the beautiful lobby to the spacious rooms, which had all the essentials like microwaves and fridges, to be just perfect for our family trip. The hotel is a short drive from key attractions such as the Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop, just under 7.5 km away, and the Old Town, which is only about 6 km from the hotel, making it super easy for us to explore the historic streets and soak in the local culture. Plus, the decent breakfast was a nice perk after our morning strolls.

Good location with friendly staff and nice breakfast options. The lobby was lovely, making it a cozy spot for family photos. our room needed some serious attention—mold in the bathtub, unclean linens, and a lingering smell of weed on the second floor. The AC unit was loud and the carpets definitely could use a deep clean. While the amenities were a plus and the pool was nice, the cleanliness issues and discomfort from the odor made it hard to fully enjoy our stay. Would consider staying again if improvements are made.

The room was spacious and well-equipped with a microwave and small fridge. The carpet showed signs of wear, but it didn't disrupt our stay. The bedding was soft, yet we requested a firmer pillow and received another soft one instead. The noise level was manageable, and temperature control was effective. there were issues like missing towels and a lack of a Do Not Disturb sign. The shower had some maintenance needs, with cracked caulking. the room met our basic needs but could benefit from some updates and better maintenance.

We hit up a live show at the Performing Arts Center nearby and explored some colonial spots for the 'gram. The homies and I even grabbed a guided tour at the museum, mad educational and fun!
Yo, if there was one thing I wish for, it's a dope party scene nearby for us young folk. All about that vibe, you know?

Great location near attractions, super clean rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast had plenty of options, kids loved the waffles and we enjoyed the hot tub.
It wasn't inexpensive, but worth the money.

Spacious rooms with a reasonable rate. On the plus side, the location is convenient, and the staff exude kindness. Indoor pool hours are generous, allowing for a good family wind-down after dinner. Breakfast is standard but adequate. the experience faltered. Check-in was disorganized; the room assigned was already occupied. Limited towels for four people and thin walls detracted from comfort. Slow drains and a lack of adequate pillows were minor annoyances. an unsettling incident where staff attempted to enter our room needs immediate attention from management. A second chance was disappointing. I cannot commend a hotel that struggles to meet basic expectations.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at Country Inn. The room was spacious and tidy, which was a big plus. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, especially the overnight manager, Debbie, who went above and beyond to assist us when we had some issues. there were a few downsides to the stay. The room we were in had a lingering odor of cigarette smoke and Marijuana, which was quite unpleasant. the furnishings were a bit dated and worn out, could definitely use a refresh. On the bright side, the breakfast selection was decent, although I wish they had some eggs available. And the location was very convenient, with easy access to dining options and the highway. One thing that did bother me was the housekeeping staff being a bit too eager to enter our room before check-out time. It was quite disruptive and not very considerate. My stay at Country Inn had its pros and cons.

The bed was comfy, and the breakfast was delish! The hotel's indoor pool area was cool and well-regulated, making it a chill spot to hang out. Plus, the staff did their best during a snowstorm, which was appreciated.
The room was a mess! Stains all over the carpet, mysterious white substances on the furniture, and a lingering smell of smoke.

Met Mary Washington, played Bingo with the Eagles, and explored Civil War park. Started my day energetically with coffee and breakfast. Traveling with Choice Hotels sounds like a world tour! Like a dream come true!
Loved the moldy cup of apple juice in the fridge.

stayed at country inn, the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was great, food was good. the room was nice it was clean, although a little dated but still a nice room. the hotel was right off i-95 so it was an easy off and on to get back on the road in the morning. the staff were wonderful, they were attentive and helped in anyway they could.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property 😊

Great breakfast selection. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. However, the bathroom needed attention with loose grout and peeling wallpaper. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The family-friendly atmosphere at the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts made for a memorable live performance that was just a short distance away. The guided tour of the five gallery museum exploring the life of America's fifth president brought history to life right at our doorstep.
My wife says that the hotel could improve by offering more kid-friendly activities.

My stay at this hotel was overall enjoyable and hassle-free. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing extra pillows and blankets upon request. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as a hairdryer and iron. The breakfast offered a decent selection, including hard-boiled eggs, cereal, toast, and fruit. I appreciated the 24-hour hot beverage stand and the availability of coffee at all times. The pool was clean and the water temperature was just right.
The front desk was often unmanned, making it difficult to get immediate assistance. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there were stains on the carpet and furniture.

The breakfast selection was limited, prompting us to dine elsewhere most days. During check-in, our request to separate payments for multiple rooms was initially misunderstood, leading to confusion at check-out.

the room at country inn was clean and had basic needed amenities. the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was friendly. the pool was open and very comfortable, and the bed was clean and comfortable. the location was great, and the soap dish in the shower was a thoughtful touch.

Wheelchair accessible bathroom, comfortable beds, convenient refrigerator and microwave in the room, great location.
Felt extremely welcome, nothing to complain about.
